Community Standards

Kin is a place for short, human conversations with people you do not know yet. Keep every room welcoming, consensual and safe.

Adults only

You must be 18 or older to use Kin. Do not claim to be older than you are. If someone appears to be under 18, report them and leave the room.

No sexual or graphic content

Nudity, sexual activity, sexual requests and graphic violence are not allowed in text, voice or video. Do not use a camera to expose, intimidate or shock another person.

Respect the person in front of you

No harassment, threats, bullying, hate speech, slurs, stalking or targeted attacks based on someone's identity. Do not pressure anyone to keep talking, turn on a camera or share personal details.

No scams, spam or unwanted promotion

Do not impersonate people, solicit money, run scams, flood rooms or use Kin to sell and promote. Kin removes links and files from chat, and attempts to bypass that protection are not welcome.

Protect privacy

Kin is anonymous by design, but anonymity is not permission to misuse someone else's information. Do not record, capture, publish or threaten to publish another person's conversation, image or voice.

Use the controls

Use NEXT when you want a different conversation, and use Report when something crosses a line. Kin may restrict or ban people who break these standards.
